“Soo… this will be extremely random. I’m a photographer from Atlanta, I was searching through tumblr and came across your blog. I must say I’ve been having a hard time recently with the body of work I’ve been cultivating, trying to find the message I want to convey with it, trying to find the inspiration and heart to go further and to do more with it. All in all the past few months of work have been rather discouraging in that sense. Tonight however, I came across your blog and I must say that it truly brought me a small amount of peace, gave me some fresh ideas, and reminded me that I’m not the only one with this struggle. I thought I should send you a message to thank you for that.”

Received this message on my Facebook a couple of weeks ago, but hadn’t noticed this until last night. And it’s probably the best message I’ve received since starting this blog. I don’t post often, but when I do post, I try to assemble something strong, like a visual stanza to a great poem. I’m an extremely meticulous individual, so the details mean the world to me. And, knowing that my pedantic streak has at least done something for somebody means a hell of a lot. 200 followers later and I must be doing something right. Still, it’s not about the masses. It’s individual. It’s in the details. I thank you for your follows and your messages, and those of you who have gone further and stalked my Facebook. And to parisnotfrance, I still want my goddamn stickers, darling. ;)
